Our Story

In the summer of 2015, after a 7-year journey, we finally found our dream venue.

We wanted to find a unique venue with character, natural beauty and potential.

As a family, we visited the venue with high hopes and upon viewing, we all agreed that this was the one. It wasn’t just the beautiful Georgian house standing at the end of the long drive, or the grounds that the barn is situated in, but simply just witnessing the breathtaking views from the Grand Barn. It was safe to say that we found our hidden gem which we had been searching for.

It isn’t just the historic charm or the spectacular views at Villiers Barn that will capture your heart, but our experience and dedicated team all have a deep passion for other people’s happiness. Archers Caterers & Events; is our family-owned business, and we are constantly thriving for ways to make dreams become reality.

Founders, Barry and Juliet Day, come with 25 years of industry and culinary experience, having managed 100s of weddings each year. As a family, and a team, we take pride and care in what we do so we can offer the very best for our couples and guests, and provide a service tailored to each individual to create their perfect setting for their special day.

Our grade II listed barn has been fully renovated and transformed. We all agreed that it was important to try and keep as much of the oak structure, old beams and shape of the barn, in order to maintain the venue’s natural beauty, character and uniqueness.

The whole venue is set in a fantastic location for couples seeking an unforgettable and unrivaled countryside backdrop to their fairy-tale day.

After nearly 5 years of planning, architecture, wildlife and heritage inspections and renovation, we are excited to host your Special Occasion at Villiers barn.

Our dream has now finally become reality and we cannot wait to welcome you all.
