In the summer of 2015, after a seven-year search, we finally found our dream venue.
From the beginning, we knew we were looking for somewhere truly special — a place with character, natural beauty and the potential to become something extraordinary.
When we first visited the site as a family, we arrived with high hopes. The moment we stepped inside the Grand Barn and saw the breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside, we all knew we had found the one. It wasn’t just the beautiful Georgian house at the end of the long drive, or the peaceful grounds surrounding the barn — it was the feeling that this place had something truly unique. We had finally discovered the hidden gem we had been searching for.
Founders Barry and Juliet Day bring more than 25 years of industry and culinary experience, having managed hundreds of weddings each year throughout their careers. Their passion for hospitality, combined with a family-run approach, sits at the heart of everything we do at Villiers Barn.
Once the venue was found, the real journey began.

After nearly five years of planning, architectural work, wildlife and heritage inspections, and extensive renovation, Villiers Barn was finally ready to open its doors.
Today, the venue sits within stunning countryside, offering couples an unforgettable backdrop for their wedding day — a place where history, nature and celebration come together to create something truly special.
